Luke Bryan Football Party Patrol 1

Luke Bryan joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots’ Tariq Trotter for a football snack-themed skit on The Tonight Show on Sunday (Dec. 1) and the result is absolutely hysterical.

“Football Party Patrol” finds Bryan, Fallon and Trotter crashing a lame football watching party devoid of any snacks. The clip opens with the party attendees asking the host for snacks like wings and beer. Shortly after the host shakes his head signaling that he has nothing to offer his guests, Bryan and Trotter appear from a cloud of fog and start rapping about the best game-day eats.

“We are the football party patrol/ Getting your party out of control/ So when you need snacks for the big game/ Call the party patrol, we’ll save the day,” the pair sing.

Bryan, who is sporting a blonde curly wig, promises to bring the wings and drinks, while Tariq handles the “Cheese curls, cheese puffs, and of course– Cheese balls!”

Fallon puts a bit of a damper on the fun, showing up with a strange snack of his own.

“And I brought fifteen pounds of cod/ I caught it in the sea with my fishing rod/ Cod is the perfect football snack/ Loaded with omega-3s, that’s the “good fat,” he sings.

Bryan brushes his fish off with a “cool” and continues to rap about chips and guac.

The “What She Wants Tonight” singer comes around toward the end of the clip after Fallon suggests it’s “the Party Patrol politeness rule” to try a dish at a party.

“A football snack fresh from the sea!” he says after taking a bite.

Watch the hilarity go down in the clip above.

Fellow country superstar Jason Aldean recently joined Fallon for a hilarious skit as well. Check out “Hometown Bar” HERE.
