The pair of artists have already released one song together, and it seems there may be more in the works.

Post Malone and Luke Combs sent fans into a frenzy with their recent collaboration, “Guy For That,” which serves as the latest sneak peek into Malone’s upcoming debut country album, F-1 Trillion. Those who have been loving this tune as well as the music video will be happy to know that this won’t be the last song they hear from the pair of artists as Combs is the only artist featured on two songs on F-1 Trillion. Plus, Combs revealed that they have “written a bunch together this year.”
In an interview with Audacy’s Katie & Company, Combs explained that while hasn’t heard a lot of the unreleased music off Malone’s new project, he has throughly enjoyed getting to learn about the genre-bending artist’s creative process in their frequent writing sessions.
“He’s such a music fan. He just loves music, all kinds of music. He loves making music. He has such just good energy and vibe, he’s just positive, at least from my experience. And gosh, I mean, he’s just the sweetest dude,” Combs shared honestly.
Stepping Outside Of His Comfort Zone
On top of all the fun they had, the “Love You Anyway” singer also said that working with Malone allowed him to step outside of his comfort zone and experience a new way of writing music.
“It was another thing that was stepping outside of stuff that I wouldn’t normally write, but also bringing my little bit of knowledge into his thing. So it was really cool, man,” he shared. “Those guys, the way they write and produce and create stuff is so much different than the way I do it. It was just really cool to get to be around that stuff and experience it and it was really a lot of fun.”
Combs Says Life With Two Young Sons Is A ‘Crazy Ride’
The latest music to come from Luke Combs, aside from his new song with Malone, came in the form of a heartfelt EP inspired by his current chapter as a father of two kids. The project, fittingly titled Fathers & Sons, followed his 2023 album, Gettin’ Old. Seeing as how the North Carolina native is busy splitting his time between touring on the weekends and being at home with his wife, Nicole and two young sons, Tex Lawrence Combs, 2, and Beau Lee Combs, who will turn 1 on August 15, it’s hard to say when we will get new music from the superstar.
Even though he has his hands full trying to keep up with everything, Combs says he feels “so blessed” for the life he has.
“It’s a crazy ride right now. It goes from back-to-back stadiums to back-to-back bedtime, bath, bottle, diaper. It’s really the craziest juxtaposition, but it’s also the best thing in the world,” he gushed. “I’m so blessed to get to spend a lot more time with my kids than most people get to, but I still also get to go out and play these amazing shows and be around the guys in my band or my buddies on the road. And it’s like, I’m aware every day of how fortunate I am to get to do all those things at the same time.”
He went on to say that his boys are doing “amazing” and growing as fast as “weeds.”
Luke Combs is currently in the midst of his record-breaking “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” tour. The trek continues this weekend with back-to-back shows in Houston, TX on Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10.
