It’s not often that fans see Luke Combs putting his life at home on display across social media, however in lieu of his new album, Fathers & Sons, dropping June 14, he recently shared a carousel of sweet moments between him, his two sons and his wife, Nicole. These images pair perfectly with his soon-to-be-released collection of dad songs.

Combs’ 10-month-old son, Beau, and almost 2-year-old son, Tex are the focal point of the post. They are seen playing together, developing their love for music and learning from Combs, the man they look up to as they continue to grow and get more curious about life.

“Our living room looks like a daycare & I wouldn’t have it any other way 🥹,” Nicole wrote in the comment section while fans’ hearts melted over the adorable images.

Reflecting On Fatherhood In New Song, “The Man He Sees In Me”

The North Carolina native clearly takes his role as a father very seriously and is cautious about the fact that he is now a role model for his boys, which he sings about in his just-released song, “The Man He Sees In Me.”

The country star first began teasing “The Man He Sees in Me” at the start of the year and listeners quickly fell in love the wholesome nature of the storyline. Alongside the song’s release, Combs shared a message he wrote to his sons that cements his promise to be the best dad he can be.

He wrote, “To my boys, first and foremost, I will always love you, no matter what. With this song I want you to know that even though I’m not perfect, I try my hardest every day to be the best version of myself for you both. I’ll make mistakes along the way and some days you’ll be sick of your old man, I’m sure, but, dang, we’ll have some fun too. I can’t wait to see what you both turn out to be like and I hope someday down the road, I get to watch you and your kids do the same. Love, Dad.”

What To Except From The New Full-Length Album

Penned by the 11x CMA, 4x ACM, 6x Billboard Music Award-winner alongside Josh Phillips, the song offers the first taste of the 12-track album that centers entirely around fatherhood.

Fathers & Sons was recorded live and features Combs’ most personal songwriting to date. Throughout each of these songs, he reflects on his own experiences as a dad of two young boys and hones in on the unique bond between parents and their children.

“I can’t wait for y’all to hear the full album next week and hope y’all love this project as much as I do,” Combs shared in his announcement on social media.

This Instagram post also revealed the track list and the album’s cover art, which features a black and white photo of Combs and his dad enjoying a simple day on the lake fishing with the two young boys.
