Maddie & Tae’s much-anticipated sophomore album finally has a release date.

The platinum-selling duo just revealed plans to release The Way It Feels, a new 15-track album, on April 10.

“It has been four years since we’ve released an album. For us, this is a lot more than just an album release,” Marlow shared in a statement. “This sophomore album will always be a reminder that no matter the setbacks and struggles, we will come out stronger and better. We are so proud of this 15 song story. We wrote these songs during the most vulnerable times and our hope is that people hear that and connect.”

The Way it Feels is finally here!” added Dye. “These songs will always represent something so beautiful and spiritual to us. And hopefully, it will represent something similar to people who listen.”

The project, which was produced by Jimmy Robbins and Derek Wells, features songs from the duo’s previous two EPs, released in 2019, as well as five brand new tracks, each co-written by Dye and Marlow.

In a teaser video posted to the duo’s socials, the singer/songwriters open up the feeling of redemption this album brings for them.

“For the rest of my life, this project will be a little reminder of a moment in time where we got our asses kicked over and over again and still managed to prevail,” Marlow said. “There’s a lot to this story that you don’t know yet, and we’re so ready to finally tell it.”

The Way It Feels is available for pre-save now.

Fans can catch Maddie & Tae on their headlining Tourist In This Town Tour this spring as well as Lady Antebellum’s Ocean 2020 Tour this summer.
