The year 2019 will likely be one Maddie & Tae’s Maddie Marlow will never forget.
The singer, who recently celebrated her 24th birthday, will soon marry the love of her life, Jonah Font.
Her pending nuptials are quickly approaching and like any bride, she’s been busy putting together the final details for the couple’s big day.
“The wedding is coming up,” Marlow recently shared with People. “We actually just met with our pastor today and finalized the ceremony.”
While the exact wedding date has yet to be revealed, Marlow shared that they’ve had to shift the date a number of times due to the duo’s busy touring schedule (they’re spending most of the year on the road with Carrie Underwood on the Cry Pretty Tour 360).
“We’ve had to move the date a couple of times because of the Carrie tour but other than that it’s been great,” she explained. “My fiancé is so supportive. Too many blessings are happening at one time so I’m not complaining.”
Marlow’s best friend and duo partner will be by her side through it all. Taylor Dye will act as the official witness to the marriage and Marlow wouldn’t have it any other way.
“She’s going to be on our marriage certificate forever,” the bride-to-be revealed. “They were like, who would you want to have on your marriage certificate? And I was like, my best friend!”
The pair will soon toast Marlow’s marriage with a bachelorette party in the Lone Star State.
“All that’s left to do is my bachelorette party,” Marlow shared. “Tae and I are going to be turning up. We’re going to Texas — Austin. My hometown is a little boring compared to Austin.”
Maddie & Tae recently enjoyed some well-deserved downtime when they took a joint vacation to Mexico with their significant others. Their next scheduled tour date is set for July 13 in Santa Maria, CA.
