Mickey Guyton showcased her soaring vocals and delivered a special message of unity with a performance of her new song, “All American,” during Thursday evening’s CMA Summer Jam.
Sporting a white fringe dress and sparkling black over-the-knee boots, Guyton made her way across the Ascend Amphitheater stage with confidence as she sang about the Texas sky and New York lights calling for the people of our nation to join together once again.
“There’s been so much division and I think this song can really bring people together and be proud of who they are,” Guyton shared ahead of her performance.

The Texas native was thrilled to be included on the star-studded lineup and for the chance to share the stage with some of her friends.
“I have been watching CMA and all of the amazing events that CMA puts on for a long time and to finally be included in that is just really really cool and special to me and I’m just so excited to be a part of it,” she explained before the broadcast. “I get to sing during Carrie Underwood’s set like that is not anything I pictured two years ago and here I am and I’m just so grateful for that.”
“All American” is featured on Guyton’s long-awaited debut album, Remember Her Name, which is set to release on September 24. Guyton co-wrote the track alongside Victoria Banks, Emma-Lee and Karen Kosowski.
