Miranda Lambert is giving her current single, “Settling Down,” the acoustic treatment.

The superstar just released a stripped-down acoustic performance of the track, which appears on her 2019 album, Wildcard

The video features Lambert performing the song with just a microphone and acoustic guitar and showcases her beloved country vocals.

“Settling Down” was co-written by Lambert alongside Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby.

“I’d say life inspired me to write this song, I got married, but I also still love the road, I have a gypsy soul, and I wanted to write a song that kind of spoke to the sentiment of “can you have both?” and is that okay,” Lambert previously shared of the inspiration behind “Settling Down.”

In the fall of 2020, the Texas native brought the song to life with a music video co-starring her husband Brendan McLoughlin.

The clip features striking imagery of Lambert’s picturesque Tennessee farm and showcases the couple together at home enjoying each other’s company. From fishing on the pond to flirty cooking in the kitchen, the video quickly became a favorite among Lambert’s massive fan base.

The three-time GRAMMY winner will soon return to the stage for a limited run of shows at Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest honky tonk.

On May 7, she’ll release The Marfa Tapes, a new album with her longtime collaborators, Jack Ingram and Jon Randall.
