Morgan Wade enlisted Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards for her new “Fall In Love With Me” music video after rumors swirled that the pair were dating.

On Thursday afternoon (Aug. 10), the rising country star shared the clip, which tells the story of what happens when an intriguing new neighbor moves in next door.

Directed by David McClister, the “Fall In Love With Me” music video features Richards, 54, taking on the role of a homeowner who finds herself daydreaming about her new neighbor, portrayed by Wade, 28. The narrative unfolds with Wade moving in next door, sparking Richards’ fantasies.

Richards is seen sneakily peeking out her blinds at Wade as she seductively pours water over herself while unpacking heavy moving boxes. These moments of curiosity lead to dreamy sequences where Richards envisions a potential romance with her neighbor, including flirty bathtub scenes and visuals of the pair feeding each other strawberries and whipped cream.

The video then takes an unexpected turn as Richards takes the initiative, sealing a love-letter with a kiss before sending it to Wade, who was excited to receive the message from her neighbor.

While Wade and Richards maintain a close friendship, they are not romantically involved with each other. Rumors have swirled online suggesting that the pair are dating and this clip will certainly add fuel to those conversations.

Addresses Speculation

During a recent interview with 103.5 KISS-FM, Morgan Wade addressed the speculation.

“It’s been a lot,” Wade explained to the radio station. “It’s weird, it’s strange. I’m like,, ‘Just leave me alone.’ Now it’s just, like, whatever. We’re good friends and it’s funny.”

She continued, “I had to look at it [like that] because at first, I was not looking at it that way because you wake up one morning and it’s like, all this stuff about you on the internet and I’m not used to that at all. I’m not a reality television star. I like to be left alone to write music.”

“But now, I’m like, people weren’t going to shut up about it and we made this really sweet video and it’s nice to be able to bring that light to a same-sex relationship in country music. I’m not mad at that,” she admitted.

Ahead of the video’s release, Morgan Wade explained why she chose to include Kyle Richards as her co-star in the clip.

“I’ve done several music videos and every time there’s someone in it with me, they always assume we’re dating or something’s going on,” Wade explained in an interview on YouTube. ”If you get on the internet, you see people who are obsessed with us being friends and why we’re friends and why I would be friends with [Richards].”

“But we thought it would be kind of a good idea and kind of poke fun at that and kind of troll the trolls a little bit. The Internet’s going to be popping off about this one, I’m sure,” she added.

Richards added, “Well, if they’re going to talk, you might as well give them something to talk about so…”

The clip also shared how Richards was introduced to Wade for the first time.

“I heard Morgan on the radio. I heard ‘Wilder Days’ and then I went to all the others and I was like, wow, this girl’s really blowing me away with her voice and the lyrics,” Richards explained. “And I looked up on Instagram and I was like, oh, I don’t know. She had tattoos and everything. I wasn’t expecting all that and so I followed her and then I kept listening to her music on repeat, and then she sent me a DM asking me why I was following her.”

New Album

“Fall In Love With Me” is set to appear on Morgan Wade’s forthcoming second studio album, Psychopath, which arrives on August 25 via Sony Music Nashville. The 13-track project will also feature “80’s Movie” as well as the self-penned title track, among others.

“Regardless of what people say about Psychopath, I’m proud because I feel like it showcases where I’m at with my sophomore album,” Wade shared of the project. “I have no choice but to be authentic. And I have to feel what I feel. And right now, I’m really feeling the music.”

Every song on the project was co-written by Wade alongside songwriters such as Ashley Monroe, Julia Michaels, Angaleena Presley, Butch Walker, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, Liz Rose and more.

Psychopath also showcases her talent as not only a singer but a songwriter as she also penned five of the tracks on her own, including “Losers Look Like Me,” “Roman Candle,” “Psychopath,” “Fall In Love With Me,” and “27 Club.”

Produced by Sadler Vaden, Psychopath follows the release of Wade’s critically-acclaimed debut album, Reckless, a project that included her fan-favorite single, “Wilder Days.”
