Miranda Lambert enjoyed some much-needed downtime with her hubby Brendan McLoughlin among the stunning views of Italy.
In a new social media post, the “Wranglers” singer shared several highlights from their trip, including the stunning architectural views at golden hour, finding art along the cobble stone streets, indulging in delicious food and wine, and more. At each stop, they made sure to snap a few photos in their European ensembles, capturing the memories forever.
The couple appeared to be beaming from their visit abroad to round out the summer months before Lambert kicks things back into high gear with more performances and the upcoming release of her new album, Postcards From Texas.
“Until next time Italy! 🇮🇹🍕🍝💚🍷Thank you for your beauty, history, art, wine, gelato, sweetest people and the memories,” Lambert wrote in her caption.
One Month From New Album Drop
Lambert’s Italian vacay came just about a month after the triple GRAMMY winner announced her next project, which is slated for release on September 13. She began by dropping hints through postcards and billboards posted up around town and then finally unveiled the 14-song track list that makes up her first project at her new label home, Republic Records.
With this announcement, fans learned that fellow Texas native, Parker McCollum will appear as the only featured guest on the project. His name is written under the song “Santa Fe” on a brown postcard that offers a scenic rendering of the desert terrain of New Mexico.
The “Burn It Down” singer took to X (formerly Twitter) one day after Lambert’s announcement to express just how much this opportunity means to him.
“Absolutely honored to be a part of this album,” he wrote. “Been a huge fan of Miranda since I was just a kid so to have the opportunity to collab with her is truly a dream come true. One of the greatest talents this business has ever seen.”
So far, fans have gotten a taste of the forthcoming collection with songs like “Wranglers” and “Dammit Randy,” and her latest barn burner, “Alimony.” These songs as well as the title reveals that Postcards From Texas, produced by Miranda Lambert & Jon Randall, aims to celebrate Lambert’s deep roots in her home state.
Upcoming Shows
The “Actin’ Up” singer returns to the road this Saturday, August 17 to perform at the Illinois State Fair. She has several more dates on the books through December across Mississippi, Minnesota, New Jersey and Oklahoma, in addition to a show with Chris Stapleton on his All-American Road Show in Houston, Texas on August 24.
Plus, Miranda Lambert will headline Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater in celebration of the 15th anniversary of her MuttNation Foundation on October 5. This show will find Lambert taking the stage alongside several of her friends with proceeds going toward helping dogs find forever homes.
