Post Malone brought his F-1Trillion Tour to Charleston, SC on Wednesday, Oct. 9 and made it a night to remember for all in attendance. In the midst of the show, he let fans know that a “special friend” would be joining him on stage. That artist was Charleston native, Darius Rucker.
“Y’all might know this crazy motherf**er,” he teased, causing fans to start throwing out their guesses on who the surprise guest might be. “He’s made some of my favorite songs that I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage an absolutely stunning man and an absolutely handsome man and a beautiful friend, Mr. Darius Rucker.”

The crowd erupted in a sea of cheers as the pair of artists hugged it out on stage. Malone returned to the mic, led the crowd in a “Darius” chant then asked his fellow country singer, “would you sing for us?” to which he happily replied, “I would love to sing.”
The pair proceeded to sing two of Rucker’s fan-favorites – “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It” and “Wagon Wheel.”
Malone, wearing his George Strait t-shirt, happily danced and strummed his guitar while joining Rucker and the audience in a massive sing-along at Credit One Stadium. There’s truly no one better that the Texas native could have presented to his South Carolina audience.

This isn’t the first country star Malone has welcomed as a special guest on his current tour. During a previous stop in Boston, he honored his venture into country music by inviting ERNEST and HARDY to the stage, both of which appear on his debut country album.

The project, dubbed F-1 Trillion, was released just a few months ago in August and features a stacked list of collaborators from the country music scene including Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and more. Upon it’s official release, he surprised fans with an extended version of the collection titled, F-1 Trillion: Long Bed, offering nine unexpected solo tracks. The additional nine songs bring the total number of tracks to a whopping 27.
Shortly after the project dropped, the “Sunflower” singer achieved yet another milestone when he made his long-awaited Grand Ole Opry debut alongside even more of his fellow singer/songwriters.

While he has fully entered his country era, Post Malone’s current F-1 Trillion Tour setlist includes both songs off his star-studded country project and hits from his early career.
This weekend, he will make his way to Atlanta, GA on Oct. 11 and Rogers, AR on Oct. 13. The tour will come to a close with back-to-back shows in Austin, TX at the end of the month.
