RaeLynn and her husband, Josh Davis, are divorcing, Country Now can confirm.
According to court documents obtained by Country Now, the “God Made Girls” singer filed for divorce on June 8 in Davidson County, Tennessee.
“After much thought and prayer, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. This has not been an easy decision,” Raelynn shared in a statement with Country Now. “As a working mom, I am committed to giving my daughter the love, stability, and support she will need while we navigate this next chapter together. I am grateful for the love and encouragement of my family, friends, and fans, and I respectfully ask for privacy as we move forward with grace and compassion.”

RaeLynn and Davis first met at church in 2012. While they initially started out as friends, both later admitted they felt there was always something more between them. After attending a friend’s wedding together just a few weeks later, the pair began dating.
In 2015, Davis proposed after sending RaeLynn on a scavenger hunt around Nashville. After making stops at several places that played an important role in their relationship, the couple ended up at Belmont University where Davis proposed.
The couple tied the knot on February 27, 2016, during a ceremony in Franklin, Tennessee, in front of nearly 300 guests, including RaeLynn’s former The Voice coach, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani.

About a year into their marriage, Davis enlisted in the military, and RaeLynn often spoke openly about the unique challenges that came with being a military spouse.
“There’s a level of sacrifice that you have to do as a military spouse that the average person might not have to do,” she previously told People. “You can’t talk to your significant other all the time. There’s the fear of when they do deploy, of not seeing them again and that underlying fear of just hoping that they’re okay.”
“He’s doing something so honorable, and I’m just so proud of him,” she added.

The couple expanded their family in 2021 with the birth of their daughter, Daisy Rae, who was born on September 8.
“Babies are truly a gift,” RaeLynn wrote at the time while announcing her daughter’s arrival.

Since then, fans have watched Daisy Rae grow up through RaeLynn’s social media, where the singer has frequently shared glimpses of their life together. Daisy Rae has also become a familiar face on the road, often joining her mom while she’s on tour.
During a 2024 appearance on the Get Real with Caroline Hobby podcast, RaeLynn opened up about being a work mom and why she feels it’s important to bring Daisy Rae on the road with her.
“I’m never gonna make her feel like she is not a priority, and I think, you know, that’s why I bring her on the road,” she said. “I want Daisy to experience life with a mommy. I don’t want her to think, ‘she chose a career (over me).’ It’s good for her to know that mommy goes to work, whatever, but she is chosen. She is a part of this family. She is a part of my career, she’s a part of my life. She is not second. That has been the biggest thing for me.”
