Hot on the heels of her third chart-topping single and the release of her latest hit, “The Bones,” Maren Morris celebrated the launch of the fall leg of her GIRL: The World Tour with a run of shows in the Northeast over the weekend.
The Grammy-winning singer brought her soulful live show to The Met in Philadelphia, PA and in 90-minutes, Morris proved exactly why she’s among country music’s best.
The superstar’s electrifying set featured 21 songs, highlighting her biggest hits as well as tracks from her latest album, GIRL. She also performed “Crowded Table” from the just-released album from The Highwomen and “The Middle,” her collaboration with Zedd and Grey.
With her powerful vocals and commanding stage presence, Morris had the packed house in the palm of her hands throughout the entire night.
Joining Morris at The Met were rising singer/songwriters Kassi Ashton and Hailey Whitters, who each delivered memorable sets before Morris took the stage. Ashton and Whitters returned to the spotlight later in the show to join Morris for a cover of The Cardigans’ “Lovefool.”
Morris will continue the fall leg of GIRL: The World Tour through November while also providing direct support on Miranda Lambert’s 2019 Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour. Click HERE to see if she’s coming to a city near you.
