Country superstar Shania Twain turned heads with her performance at the 2019 American Music Awards where she not only covered several of her own chart-topping hits but also performed songs by Taylor Swift, Drake, Twenty One Pilots and Post Malone.
After her performance, a clip of Post Malone dancing and singing along to her performance of “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” went viral and Post Malone was officially declared a Shania Twain superfan by the internet.
When Twain appeared on CBS’ The Talk following the AMAs, she opened up about Post Malone’s reaction to her performance, telling the hosts it was “adorable.” She also revealed that she hopes to collaborate with him one day.
“I’ve written a song for us already,” she confessed. “He doesn’t know it yet.”
Chances are, Post Malone would be up for a collab with Twain as he has previously confessed his affinity for her music. Earlier this year, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Posty shared that he listens to a lot of Shania Twain music backstage at his concerts.
Is a Shania Twain/ Post Malone song the collaboration we never knew we needed? Possibly!
Watch the clip above for more with Twain, who will return to Las Vegas for her “Let’s Go!” residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino beginning December 6.
