Just weeks ahead of the release of his forthcoming fifth studio album, Thomas Rhett returned to the top of the country radio charts with his latest single, “What’s Your Country Song.”
The song reached the No.1 spot on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck Charts while simultaneously topping Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart.
Rhett, who co-wrote the song alongside Rhett Akins, Jesse Frasure, Ashley Gorley and Parker Welling, says the idea of earning his 17th No.1 is mind-blowing.
“I can hardly wrap my mind around seventeen… what an unreal way to kick off this new chapter of music,” the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year said. “I’m so grateful to the fans and radio for reacting to this one right away after I played a little of it on Instagram basically a year ago – it’s crazy to see it all come full circle. I cannot wait to share the rest with y’all!”

“What’s Your Country Song” is the lead single from Rhett’s upcoming double album. The first set, Country Again: Side A, will be released on April 30.
The superstar will celebrate the album with a special livestream, “Thomas Rhett One Night Only From Nashville.” Taking place on Friday, April 30 at 7:00PM CT, the event is hosted by Veeps and will allow fans from around the globe to experience Thomas Rhett’s first full band performance since 2019 and have a front-row seat to the debut performances of brand new songs, along with fan-favorite chart-topping smashes. Tickets for the concert and VIP packages for the post-show Q&A are on-sale now at thomasrhett.veeps.com.
“It’s been a year and a half since I last played a live show,” Thomas Rhett said. “It’s been good to keep sharing music in all the ways we’ve made work (mostly in front of my plaid curtains), but we really wanted to take it up a few notches until we can safely get back out there on the road. It’ll be where we play some new stuff for the first time and have a chance to share what the songs mean to me!”
