Tim McGraw is known to be a health and fitness guru, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t indulge every now and then.
The superstar, who is set to release Here On Earth, his first solo project in five years, on August 21, admits he has a few guilty pleasures when it comes to the food.
“I crave stuff all the time,” he shares. “I love a great cheeseburger. I mean, I’m a cheeseburger fanatic, but now it’s more turkey burgers than a real cheeseburger every now and then.”
With his Here On Earth Tour cancelled due to the coronavirus, the Louisana native has been spending a lot of time at home with his wife, Faith Hill. He says she’s been keeping him well fed during quarantine.
“Faith makes great fried chicken, so we’ve had fried chicken quite a few times and I make the mashed potatoes,” he revealed. “We’ve had fried chicken and mashed potatoes quite a few times, and she makes the best roasted chicken that you can possibly imagine.”
McGraw isn’t so bad in the kitchen himself. He says he makes a “pretty dang good country fried steak.” In fact, his cooking is what helped him win Hill over before they start dating! He once cooked up his grandmother’s chicken and dumplings and delivered them to her front door in an effort to woo her.
