Chris Stapleton shared a stripped down music video for his latest single “Starting Over” on Saturday (Sept. 19).

The clip features his wife and phenomenal vocalist Morgane, as well as producer Dave Cobb and band members J.T. Cure and Derek Mixon. The video was filmed during the recording process of the song at the historic RCA Studio A on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee.

“It don’t bother me/ Wherever we are is where I wanna be/ And Honey, for once in our life/ Let’s take our chances and roll the dice/ I can be your lucky penny, you can be my four-leaf clover/ Starting over,” he sings while harmonizing with his wife Morgane on the chorus.

“Starting Over” finds the Grammy-winning superstar looking ahead to brighter days, pondering a new beginning. “Well, the road rolls out like a welcome mat/ To a better place than the one we’re at,” he sings on the first verse. He goes on to share that he’s ready to use this opportunity to start fresh, despite the fact that “this might not be an easy time.”

Stapleton co-wrote “Starting Over” with his longtime collaborator Mike Henderson, and the tune is the title track from his upcoming album, Starting Over.

The forthcoming 14-track album is slated for release on November 13. You can pre-order or pre-save the album now, HERE.

The new project serves as the follow-up to the Kentucky native’s 2017 release, From A Room: Volume 2. That record, which was nominated for Best Country Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, spawned the hit “Millionaire” and also earned the celebrated artist a nomination for CMA Album of the Year.
