Gabby Barrett and her husband Cade Foehner are throwing it back to 2007 with a cover of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw’s 2007 hit, “I Need You.”
Barrett shared the clip on her Instagram this week, writing, “Love him. And this song.”
The video, which was originally filmed in late 2019, features the pair singing the heartfelt ballad in a bathroom. Barrett joked that they chose to sing the song in the bathroom because it has the “best acoustics.”
“I Need You” was written by David Lee and Tony Lane and released in 2007 as the second single from McGraw‘s Let It Go album. The track went on to become one of the couple’s most beloved duets.
This isn’t the newlyweds’ first time covering an iconic duet. Earlier this year, they joined forces for a cover of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s “Nobody But You.”
