To celebrate the upcoming release of his new album, Country State of Mind, Josh Turner dropped by The Bobby Bones Show and brought along a very special guest – Country Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis.
The pair joined together for a memorable performance of Travis’ 1987 hit, “Forever And Ever, Amen.” A new version of the beloved song featuring Travis appears on Turner’s new album and marks the legendary performer’s first recording session since his 2013 stroke.

Out August 21, Country State of Mind finds Turner covering a number of country music icons, including Travis, John Anderson, Johnny Cash, Vern Gosdin and Hank Williams.
“I’ve always said that any song you hear coming from my voice, you’re going to hear bits and pieces of those five guys,” Turner previously shared. “They taught me how to be Josh Turner.”
Country State of Mind also includes appearances by John Anderson, Kris Kristofferson, Chris Janson, Runaway June and Maddie & Tae.
