For Morgan Wallen’s first of two back-to-back shows in Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, he surprised the packed crowd by bringing out his friend and opener, Jelly Roll, for a epic delivery of “Cowgirls.”

On Thursday night (Aug. 8), Wallen brought a high-energy show to his fans of Sin City and certainly raised anticipation for tonight’s concert in the process. In the midst of his set, the “Save Me” singer joined him in singing ERNEST’s part in the collaborative tune that recently earned Wallen his 14th No. 1 hit at country radio.

Co-written by ERNEST, Charlie Handsome, Rocky Block, James Maddox and Ashley Gorley, “Cowgirls” appears on the East Tennessee native’s latest record-breaking album, One Thing At A Time.

Wallen sang the opening of the song on his own, until the Antioch native snuck onstage, silently waiting for his introduction. Since ERNEST wasn’t on hand at the show, Jelly Roll stepped up to the plate and won over the audience with his high energy and the grit of his genre-bending sound just in time for the chorus.

The pair of artists continued to make their way down the catwalk and danced it out on stage, clearly having a good time while taking turns delivering the lyrics backed by the hard-hitting beat.

“Long live cowgirls/ Never gonna settle on down girls/ Leave you in a lonely ghost town world/ Where the sun don’t rise/ Rodeo for one night/ Love you like a mustang/ One hand on them giddy-up reins/ Hole in your heart with some good aim/ On a goodbye ride/ But it’s fine ’cause it’s kinda my thing/ Long live cowgirls/ Yeah, long live cowgirls,” they sang on the chorus as fans chimed in around them.

The “Last Night” singer went on to perform several more of his newest buzzed-about tunes including his fan-favorite with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help” and his latest single “Lies, Lies, Lies.”

Earlier in the night during Jelly Roll’s opening set, he also shocked the crowd with a surprise guest of his own – Machine Gun Kelly (MGK). Together, they performed a collaborative rendition of “Need A Favor” and their first-ever release together, “Lonely Road.” The haunting track that dropped in July draws inspiration from the 1971 John Denver hit, “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” They also teamed up for an accompanying music video starring Jelly Roll and MGK along with featured cameos by their wives, Bunnie XO and Megan Fox.

Jelly Roll will not appear as a special guest at Morgan Wallen’s second Las Vegas show. Instead, Bailey Zimmerman will grace the stadium tonight in addition to openers Nate Smith and Ella Langley, who have been tapped to serve as support on both dates.

These shows mark yet another stop on the country hitmaker’s One Night At A Time World Tour. Following his appearance in Sin City, Wallen will bring his tour overseas for a run of shows in Stockholm, Sweden, Oslo, Norway, Copenhagen, Denmark, and more.
