Zach Bryan has never shied away from bringing friends, celebrities, and sometimes even fans up on stage to help create memorable moments throughout his shows. During his recent stop in Sunrise, FL, one very lucky attendee received the experience of a lifetime when he was invited to join Bryan on stage to help sing the song “Heading South” in front of the packet-out crowd.
Spencer Silver was plucked out of his spot in the crowd and given the opportunity to take over Bryan’s mic for a moment. Donning a cowboy hat proudly, Spencer exchanged a few words with the country star before confidently introducing himself to the crowd.

“My name is Spencer Silver and I’m here to entertain you,” he said with enthusiasm as Bryan stood behind him, allowing him to have his moment on stage.
Without a second thought, Spencer began strumming on the guitar Bryan handed him and instantly earned cheers of approval from the crowd of 30,000, along with a fist pump from the “Something in the Orange” singer who realized he had made the right choice in choosing Spencer to sing this next track. He caused a massive sing-along to break out while delivering the first verse of the song and continued trading off lyrics with Bryan throughout the remainder of the song.
With a final strum of his guitar, Spencer closed out the performance, embraced his fellow singer/songwriter in a hug, and then walked off stage with a tight grip on the instrument that Bryan had gifted him as a reminder of this once-in-a-lifetime moment. The entire performance was caught on video by several attendees and has since become a must-see clip on TikTok.

In a statement shared with Country Now, Silver revealed that he grew up in a musical family and learned to play guitar at 9 years old, thus cementing his passion for music at an early age.
“I love music, and I’ve always been passionate about it. It’s always been my dream to play music, put out music for people, and play for others. Even though I never even thought I was a great singer, I know there are a million people who are way more talented instrumentalists. But I guess people liked what I did [at the Zach Bryan concert],” he shared with pride.
Spencer went on to say that even though he is not a professional, he is looking forward to leaning into his talent more and this experience with Zach Bryan and hearing the praise from the crowd has given him even more motivation to do so.
“The whole thing about me is I’m excited to work on the music part, and that’s what I want to work on. I’m not someone who is a professional musician. I’m just someone who likes doing it. It’s fun for me. I mean, that’s kind of how Zach broke, too. I have no professional background and am just a normal guy. That’s the story – that I’m a normal guy, and it just happened, you know?”

This heartfelt moment took place during Zach Bryan’s current headline run dubbed The Quittin Time Tour ’24. The trek continues tonight with back-to-back shows in San Antonio, TX.
