Four weeks ago, Brantley Gilbert and his wife, Amber, welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Braylen Hendrix. The singer/songwriter previously admitted he was a bit worried about how his almost 2-year-old, Barrett Hardy-Clay, would handle having another baby in the house, but it appears things are going better than expected.

“So we’re a family of four, and I tell ya, my two-year-old boy loves her,” the Georgia native recently shared. “We were worried about him being jealous and all that, but he honestly just, he loves her to death and wants to hold her and is real gentle with her. It’s just been awesome to watch.”

On top of welcoming a new baby, Gilbert also just released his brand new, 15-track album, Fire & Brimstone. He’s been making the media rounds in support of the record and will soon embark on his Second Annual Kick It in the Ship cruise.

At the end of the day though, Gilbert’s number one priority is his family.

“I love being a dad. It’s my favorite thing in the world and makes it’s hard to be out here on the road,” he explained. “Makes me a little homesick and ready to see ‘em now.”

Brantley Gilbert has an extensive tour schedule planned through early next year. Click HERE to see if he’s coming to a city near you.
