Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black – The Masked Singer 1

The masks came off the snow owls on FOX’s The Masked Singer and Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black have been revealed as the mystery singers.

The beloved couple was unmasked on Wednesday’s episode following their performance of “Because You Loved Me” By Celine Dion.

Only one panelist, Nicole Scherzinger, correctly guessed the couple behind the masks. (Country Now previously shared a prediction about the couple on the show following their performance of “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” by Meghan Trainor.)

After revealing their identities, the couple opened up about their decision to appear on the show.

“It took about three minutes to decide to do it,” Black said. “And then it was, ‘Oh my God what have we done?’ It starts to look like more than you can chew. We really didn’t have an idea just how challenging it would be. But it was fun. We’re glad we did it.”

Hartman Black explained how they had to learn how to operate the egg together and said that it wasn’t an easy task.

“On the first day on the set to see this egg and get inside the egg and see if we can operate it,” she recalled. “We had handbrakes and bars and I mean it was pretty intimidating… We tried to take little bitty steps and it had a mind of its own inside that egg. It didn’t want to go where we wanted it to go. I held Clint’s hand a lot, we kind of leaned on each other.”

“When they walked in with these beautiful owls and I started to cry,” she added. “They were so beautiful. And then we put them on and it changed everything. Holy cow.”

Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black will celebrate their time on the show with the release of a brand new duet, “Till The End of Time.” The track will be available beginning December 3.
