Family is everything to Kane Brown and the superstar plans to incorporate his beloved wife, Katelyn, and their adorable daughter, Kingsley, into his new music.
The American Music Awards winner is currently working on his highly anticipated new studio album and recently opened up about how the two leading ladies in his life will play a part on the project.
After teasing a duet called “Mad At This World” with Katelyn last summer, Brown revealed that collab will in fact appear on his next album, which will serve as the follow-up to his ACM Album of the Year nominated Mixtape Vol. 1.
“We just kind of wrote a song about our background, about how we connected, how we met,” he shared with Good Morning America. “I wrote my verse by myself, and then the other writers wrote the chorus.”
“So then when I brought it into her, and she listened to it and just heard the story about my side of the story of how we met, she loved it,” he continued. “So it’ll be cool coming together.”

A song for Kingsley may also appear on the album. In a recent interview with RADIO.COM’s Katie Neal, Brown shared that he’s been working on writing a new song for her.
“I started writing a song the other day for her,” he noted. “But it’s still kind of like my song for my daughter. A song from before I even met her, and now she hasn’t grown up enough yet for me to really write anything about her. I was kind of saying, ‘you’re one now, when I blink you’re gonna be eighteen.’ It’s that kind of songwriting now.”
He previously shared the touching track, “For My Daughter,” in honor of Kingsley. The emotional tune was co-written by Brown after he officially got the news that Katelyn was pregnant.
“I meant every word, and cannot wait to watch her grow up,” he previously shared.
While no further details about the album have been revealed, Brown did share that fans can expect “14 to 11” new tracks to appear on the project, including his current hit single, “Worship You.”
