Kane Brown is getting ripped.
The country superstar is putting his time off the road to good use by spending more time working on his physique. The “Cool Again” singer opened up about his new fitness routine during his Off the Road CMT special and revealed that a comment made by a fellow country singer fueled his desire to get more fit.
“I work out every day. I have not missed one day. Miss RaeLynn made me hit the gym a little harder. She called me fat one day at a pool party and I was like, ‘Okay, alright. Let’s see if I’m fat in a couple months,” Brown explained.
After waiting four months for his new dumbells to arrive, Brown is now in full-on fitness mode and he’s watching his calorie intake, too.
“I’ve quit drinking beer. I only drink water,” he said, adding, “My goal is to be the most shredded guy in country music.”
It’s worth noting that RaeLynn’s comment was a joke as Kane, his wife Katelyn and RaeLynn often spend time together and are actually really good friends.
Brown is also challenging fellow country artists Tyler Hubbard, Chris Lane, Jimmie Allen, Tim McGraw and Jon Pardi to join him on his journey to getting “ripped.” Brown called each artist out on Instagram and several accepted the challenge.
“Let’s go,” wrote Allen, while Hubbard agreed to commit fully once his broken ankle is healed.
McGraw, who released a fitness book in 2019, joked, “I’ll let ya catch up and then I’ll turn up the gas!”
Fans can watch Brown’s Off The Road special for more with the superstar, including an in-depth look at his life at home with his wife, Katelyn, and daughter, Kingsley.
