Kelly Clarkson covered the legendary Vince Gill on the latest episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show during her Kellyoke segment. 

The superstar showcased her vocal prowess throughout the classic country song and delivered a cover that Vince Gill would surely approve of.

Released in 1994 as the lead single from Gill’s When Love Finds You Album, “Whenever You Come Around” reached the N0.2 spot at country radio and has gone on to become one of his signature hits. Gill co-wrote the song alongside Pete Wasner.

Clarkson’s performance of “Whenever You Come Around” is one of several country covers she has shared on the show, including Joe Diffie’s “Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die),” Billy Currington’s “Let Me Down Easy,” Faith Hill’s “It Matters To Me,” Pam Tillis’ “Maybe It Was Memphis,” Wynonna’s “No One Else On Earth” and Jo Dee Messina’s “Heads Carolina, Tails California.
