Lady A’s Dave Haywood is officially a father of three.

The Georgia native took to social media early Tuesday (July 16) to introduce his newborn son, Joseph Michael Haywood, to the world.

His post included a sweet snapshot of his baby boy. In the caption, he explained the significance of his son’s name and showcased gratitude for his health.

“We’re so grateful for this little boy! Joseph Michael Haywood joined the family on July 10th,” Haywood revealed, adding, “He is named after Kelli’s late father and my brother. Mom and baby are doing great and we feel so blessed for this healthy bundle of joy 💙.”

Joseph Michael joins big brother, Cash Van, 9, and big sister, Lillie Renee, 6.

Haywood’s longtime friend and bandmate, Charles Kelley, was among the first to comment, expressing his excitement with a simple “Woohoo.”

Other artists such as Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Charles Esten, and more also shared congratulatory messages.

“Angel,” wrote Fairchild, while Esten commented, “So beautiful!! Congratulations!!”

Haywood announced the baby news just last month, revealing that his wife, Kelli Cashiola Haywood, was already several months pregnant and that she was due in July.

“I’ve always been a big fan of trios,” Haywood wrote alongside a sweet black and white snapshot of the family.

“Baby Boy Haywood coming in July,” he added at the time.

Dave and Kelli have been married for over 12 years. They were friends first, building a solid foundation for what would ultimately become a lifetime of love. They “fell hard and quick” after their first date as they already knew each other so well.

“Once we got together, we got engaged within a really short time, got married really quick because we knew each other so well,” the Georgia native previously explained. “Having that foundation of knowing each other for five, six, seven years was really just a beautiful thing.”

Haywood went all out when proposing to Cashiola, who was the Vice President of Marketing/Brand Management for Warner Music Nashville at the time. He picked her up from her office, handed her a blindfold, and drove her home. Upon arrival, she removed the blindfold to find “Will you marry me?” spelled out in Christmas lights.

Their wedding, described as “straight out of a movie,” took place on April 14, 2012, at Front Porch Farms in Ashland City, Tennessee. Dave Barnes provided the music for the ceremony, and Haywood’s bandmates, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott, were in attendance.

Haywood has some time to enjoy newborn cuddles, as Lady A’s next tour date isn’t until August 11. The award-winning group only has two more shows after that: September 27 in Washington D.C. and October 6 in Ennis, Texas.
