Lauren Alaina and Cam Arnold have officially been husband and wife for one whole year. The songstress commemorated the milestone in their love story with a heartfelt Instagram post featuring a carousel of photos from their big day.

The pair said “I Do” at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on February 4, 2024. After walking down the aisle in her custom-designed Anne Barge gown, Alaina joined her other half in celebrating alongside friends, family and even their two dogs.

As she explains in the post, their first year of marriage has come with a rollercoaster of ups and downs. They honeymooned on the sunny beaches of Maui, suffered through the unexpected loss of the Georgia native’s dad in July, celebrated Alaina’s 30th birthday, and learned they are expecting their first child.

No matter what exciting moments or obstacles that came their way, Alaina can proudly say that Arnold has stuck by her through it all.

“One year ago today I married the love of my life. We went through a lot in our first year of marriage,” Alaina began. “We shared a lot of happiness and new beginnings. We also shared loss and heartache. Cameron has been my constant and steady through it all. It has not been the easiest year of our relationship, but it has been the year that reassured me I definitely picked the right husband.”

She continued, “He held my hand my hand through losing dad. He has held my hand through this pregnancy. I can’t wait to hold his hand forever. I know no matter what comes my way I have a partner that will be right by my side through it all. I’m so proud to be Mrs. Arnold. I love you, Cameron Scott 2.4.24 💍”

The photos featured in the post showcases just how much joy they both felt on their big day. It’s hard to imagine that just a few years prior, they were strangers meeting for the first time in Riviera Cancun, Mexico for Luke Bryan’s annual Crash My Playa music event. They fell in love and announced their engagement on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in November of 2022 when the “Thicc As Thieves” singer surprised the audience by bringing Arnold out on stage and introducing both him and the shiny ring on her finger.

Soon, they will get to share their love with a little girl. Their latest life update was unveiled to fans using the music video for Alaina’s newest release, “Those Kind of Women.” The video captures the story of motherhood and honors the influential women in her life growing up. At the very end, the formal pregnancy announcement is made with a statement that reads, “This video is dedicated to my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer of 2025.”

Shortly after, the couple shared an adorable gender reveal in a clip that found them painting their pets paws and placing their prints on a canvas. At the end, the black and white coloring is lifted to reveal the baby pink paint. The video was once again set to the sound of Alaina’s new single.

“Baby Arnold is a…,” her captioned the joint social media post.

The country star further opened up about her pregnancy while appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

“I’m 22 weeks…which is a long time to hide a pregnancy, by the way, I’m very excited for people to know about this,” she shared.

The American Idol alums got candid about their experiences with motherhood and Clarkson made sure to lift Alaina up while acknowledging how “beautiful” she looked with her baby bump prominently on display.

Lauren Alaina and Cam Arnold will welcome their little one this summer.
