Lauren Alaina is getting married to her fiancé, Cam Arnold, in the coming months and the celebrations for their upcoming nuptials are already underway.

The couple recently gathered with friends and family for a wedding shower. In honor of the occasion, the American Idol alum sported a white midi dress adorned with a large bow. The soon-to-be newlyweds captured an adorable video together before heading out to the shower and even shared a sweet kiss in the clip.

Wedding Shower

“Today is our first wedding event and starts the season of all the wedding celebrations,” Alaina captioned the video. “I’m on cloud nine.”

The post was flooded with comments from fans.

“I can’t wait to marry my best friend and become Mrs. Arnold! I’m going to soak up every minute of this season of life before we say “I do” 🤍,” the singer/songwriter wrote in the caption.

Their wedding shower comes after the couple made their red carpet debut at the People’s Choice Country Awards last month where they were all smiles as they arrived to the star-studded show.

“He will forever be my People’s Choice,” Alaina said of Arnold ahead of the show.

Wedding Planning In Full Swing

With the wedding quickly approaching, the “Thicc As Theives” singer opened up about their big deal in a new interview with CMT

“He wanted a big wedding and I did not want a big wedding, so we compromised and we’re having a gigantic wedding,” she said with a laugh.

In all seriousness, Lauren said that Cam has been “in like 18 weddings” and compared him to the character in the movie 27 Dresses

“That is him. He has 18 groomsmen,” she revealed.

She Already Picked Out Her Wedding Dress

While the country star has yet to confirm when the couple will officially tie the knot, she’s already crossed off several items from her bridal bucket list, including selecting a wedding gown.

According to her Instagram, Alaina deemed August 14, 2023 “wedding dress day.” She celebrated the milestone moment with her mother, Kristy Suddeth, by her side.

Lauren shocked fans with the news of her engagement during a performance at the Grand Ole Opry in November of 2022. She welcomed Arnold to the stage by saying, “Everybody, this is my fiancé. I told him he had to come out here and we had to get a picture, so, we’re doing it because this is the circle and I’m going to hold my hand up and do the thing. Make some noise for my future husband everybody!”

How Did Lauren Alaina Meet Cam Arnold?

Their history together lies within country music as they met at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa event in Mexico.

“We met in Mexico at the [all-inclusive concert vacation] Crash My Playa that Luke Bryan has every year. Luke Bryan brought us together,” Alaina shared during an interview with ET Online. “He’s friends with Luke’s niece and her husband, so he was backstage, and we were at the taco stand, and apparently I ate my tacos really fast, and he was like, ‘Nobody’s gonna take those tacos away from you!’”

She says that’s when she “knew” he was the one for her.

“I gave him my number, but he came home and told his best friend, ‘I met the woman I’m gonna marry,’” Alaina continued. “And I did not leave Mexico feeling that way, but he was right. I’m gonna marry him.”

What Does Cameron Arnold Do For A Living?

While Lauren Alaina remains in the spotlight, Cam Arnold pursues a career in insurance. According to his LinkedIn, he is the Vice President of Sales at SouthPoint Risk. That works out because Lauren Alaina previously promised to never date someone in the country music community.

“I didn’t want anyone in the industry at all. And boy, I got everything I could have ever wanted,” she told People

Alaina has already formed a meaningful bond with Arnold’s family. Recently her soon-to-be father-in-law surprised her on tour and the moment left the “Getting Good” singer in tears. Re-live the memorable moment HERE
