Country superstar Luke Bryan is back at the top of the charts with his latest hit single, “Knockin’ Boots.”
The track, which is the lead single from Bryan’s forthcoming new studio album, was written by Hillary Lindsey, Gordie Sampson and Jon Nite. The Georgia native says he fell in love with the song immediately.
“From the moment I heard this song I knew I had to get in the studio and record it,” Bryan previously shared of his 23rd No.1 hit. “I just couldn’t get it out of my head.”
With its stripped-down production elements, “Knockin’ Boots” took Bryan a bit out of his comfort zone in the studio. But he’s happy he took the risk.
“This song sets the tone for my new album because it’s a different sounding song for me,” he explained. “The production is really, really sparse, and it really is open, and it breathes and it kinda lets me tell the story about the song. The main thing about the song is it’s just fun.”
Luke Bryan is currently in the midst of his Sunset Repeat Tour, which runs through October 25. Later this month, he’ll take a short break from the Sunset Repeat Tour to embark on his annual Farm Tour, which will visit six farms around the Midwest. Fans can find more information on that HERE.
