Luke Combs is going to be the next member of the Grand Ole Opry.

On Tuesday evening (June 11), when the superstar stepped into the circle at the Opry house, he was surprised with the invitation of a lifetime when Chris Janson, Craig Morgan and John Conlee asked him to become the next member of the hallowed institution.

Combs was immediately overcome with emotion. He bent over and tears began to pour out of his eyes. Janson, Morgan and Conlee embraced him in the emotional moment.

As the audience erupted with cheers, Combs continued to wipe the tears away as he took in the pinnacle moment.

Combs will officially be inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry at a later date.
