Luke Combs’ “Doin’ This” is officially the No.1 song in country music.

According to country radio insider Chris Owen, the track topped the Mediabase/Country Aircheck Singles chart and is expected to top Billboard’s Country Airplay chart when it’s published on Monday.

This continues Combs’ hot streak at country radio with his 13th consecutive No.1 single and 14th overall (including “Cold Beer Calling My Name” with Jameson Rodgers.

The news comes on a special day for Luke Combs as it’s the fifth anniversary of his debut single, “Hurricane,” hitting No.1. The soon-to-be-father took to social media to share his gratitude with fans upon hearing the news.

“Today is the 5 year Anniversary of “Hurricane” going #1. I get to celebrate with my 13th in a row with ‘Doin’ This,’” he wrote. “That’s INSANE! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this every step along the way. Wouldn’t be possible without you. Love y’all!”

Combs, who is the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, debuted “Doin’ This” at the 55th Annual CMA Awards last November.

The heartfelt tune was written by Combs alongside Drew Parker and Robert Williford. It was co-produced by Combs with Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton.

Arriving on June 24 via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville, the project will feature 12 tracks, including the newly released “Tomorrow Me.”

“I’ve been working on this album on and off for two and a half years now. It was sort of a crazy process through what COVID brought, and what that meant for our touring life last year,” Combs shared in a press release. ”It made me have to put a pause on this album for a second, but I’m just really stoked that it’s finally coming out. Working with Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton as a producer has been really great and I think that the fans are going to love these songs. I’m just excited to get them out and see what they think.”

Luke Combs’ upcoming third studio album will be the follow-up to his chart-topping, 2x Platinum 2019 album, What You See Is What You Get, and the 2020 deluxe edition of that dubbed, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get.

The North Carolina native will soon celebrate eight of his No.1 singles when BMI hosts the biggest No.1 party ever in his honor. Taking place on June 8 at the BMI Paring Lot in Nashville, the event will celebrate eight No.1s and 11 hit songwriters.
