Mason Ramsey reveals his new album will be here in no time!

Over the past six months, the 17-year-old country singer has been working hard to build out his next collection and on today’s episode of The Bobby Bones show, he hinted that fans will get their hands on these new songs before he kicks off his Falls Into Place Tour in September.

“It’s got I think 14, 15 songs on it and like I said, been writing all of them with my producer and everything’s just flows really smooth,” he told host Bobby Bones.

Ramsey then shared that his mission with these songs is to fill what he sees as a gap in today’s music.

“I want to bring back the old country music to the new world and I think that’s what we’re missing today.”

Two New Singles Out Now

Following the release of his 2023 Falls Into Place EP, the small-town Illinois native, has dropped several songs including “Here All Day,” “Blue Over You,” “Something You Can Hold,” and his newest set of releases, “All The Way To Memphis” and “How Do I Know If I’m In Love.”

With each song that Ramsey unveils, he uncovers a new side to his talent that fans haven’t seen yet. However, the common theme that runs throughout all his work is a nostalgic sound reminiscent of traditional country music. He never shies away from being his most authentic self and putting out the music that he’s most passionate about.

Mason Ramsey Reflects On Musical Journey That Began With A Meme

Ramsey has come a long way since the viral moment that started it all. He was first known as the Walmart Yodeling Kid and over time, he has used that momentum to build a flourishing career for himself that places him among some of country music’s biggest stars.

Thinking back to when he first skyrocketed to fame online, he admits that he was so young and so sheltered in his small-town life that he could have never predicted how much that moment would impact the rest of his life.

“I didn’t have internet where I lived and I still don’t…So I didn’t really know what was going on, what was taking off in that whole world of a meme. I didn’t even know what a meme was,” he admitted on the podcast. “My aunt called it a Mimi because she didn’t know what it was either, so that shows you how much we knew at the time. It was just pretty crazy how everything took off…”

He has spent most of his life being recognized by fans, many of whom have been around since day one, but he has yet to get tired of the fame.

“I really just do just enjoy it all around and I love meeting people and going to new places and just seeing the world and traveling and meeting more people,” he added.

Appearing On “Twisters” Album With New Song, “Shake Shake (All Night Long)”

In addition to working on his own album, Ramsey has also lent his traditional sound to the forthcoming new project, Twisters: The Album, which accompanies the thrilling new film, Twisters, both set for release on Friday, July 19. His contribution is a song he wrote called, “Shake Shake (All Night Long).”

“I never dreamed that something like this would happen,” Ramsey said of the opportunity to appear on a project alongside names like Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, and more.
