Comments poured in on the post, with many fans taking guesses as to what Lambert might have planned. Some believed she might pull a Beyoncé and drop a full album, while others expected Lambert to release a music video when she debuts the song.
Either way, the excitement for “It All Comes Out In The Wash” reached new heights following Lambert’s cryptic post. The song is fans’ first taste of new music from Lambert since her 2016 double album, The Weight of These Wings.
The Texas native previously opened up to Rolling Stone about her new music, revealing she has plans to changes things up a bit this time around. One of the biggest changes Lambert underwent with her new album is working with a new producer. The newlywed said she developed “some new chemistry” with producer Jay Joyce, who has worked with a number of artists in Nashville, including Eric Church and Little Big Town.
“It was a change, but I wanted to go in a different direction for this one than I have in the past because I feel like I was in a new place,” she confessed, adding, “Sometimes you have to change it up.”
On top of releasing new music, Lambert is gearing up to launch her all-female Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour 2019, kicking off September 13.
