Morgan Wallen’s upcoming return home to East Tennessee just got even more special. On Monday the country music sensation revealed that he would be headlining a concert at Knoxville’s Neyland Stadium on Sunday, September 22 as part of his One Night At A Time 2024 tour. In lieu of the overwhelmingly positive response from fans, Wallen has announced a second show at The University of Tennessee that will take place on Friday, September 20.

These upcoming shows will make the longtime Tennessee Volunteers fan the first country artist to ever play two nights in the venue’s nearly-100-years’ history. Additionally, it will mark the first time he has returned home to Knoxville on tour since headlining the Tennessee Valley Fair in 2019.

Friends and fellow country stars HARDY and ERNEST will join Wallen in performing in front of more than 150,000 fans across both nights.

Up until his Monday announcement, Wallen’s Instagram account had been deactivated, but he reappeared to share the exiting news with his listeners.

“I’m coming home,” he captioned the post that has already racked up seven millions of views.

The clip featured a montage footage from Wallen’s concerts as well as snapshots from the inside Neyland Stadium, soundtracked by the classic tune “Rocky Top.”

While reflecting on this milestone set of performances that reconnect him with his roots, Wallen said, “I’ve had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB and NFL stadiums the past two years, but getting to play to my hometown at Neyland Stadium, nothing tops this for a boy from East Tennessee.”

Tickets for the newly added show go on-sale beginning Thursday, July 18 at 11 am EST at Morgan Wallen’s official website. Fans will also have the option to purchase special VIP packages, which may include premium tickets, a guided backstage tour, a group photo on the stage, an invitation to the Morgan Wallen VIP Lounge, an VIP-exclusive gift item, and more.

Special VIP Packages, which may include premium tickets, a guided backstage tour, a group photo on the stage, an invitation to the Morgan Wallen VIP Lounge, a VIP-exclusive gift item, and more, will also be available.

A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold to his live shows will be put towards The Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF). The nonprofit is dedicated to giving children the chance to thrive, play, and the freedom to express themselves fully through sports and music. Earlier this year, Wallen donated $100,000 to the community of Jefferson City to improve and renovate two local baseball fields. More recently, in honor of his debut at London’s Hyde Park, the “Lies, Lies, Lies” singer allocated $20,000 to support London Youth Choirs (LYC), which aims to help underprivileged youth dig deep to uncover their musical talents and use that ability to excel.

Morgan Wallen has just 11 stops left on the U.S. leg of his One Night At A Time Tour before kicking off his first-ever European trek on August 28 in Stockholm, Sweden. His seven-show run abroad will feature stops in Copenhagen, Denmark; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Glasgow, U.K., and more before wrapping up with two back-to-back nights in Dublin, Ireland.
