Morgan Wallen has just dropped a major hint for his new I’m The Problem album, arriving May 16.
Earlier this week, Country radio insider Patrick Thomas tagged the superstar in a post on X, asking if the unreleased track from the project, “What I Want” will feature a female duet.
He wrote, “@MorganWallen , please please PLEASE confirm “What I Want” is a duet. You haven’t yet sang with any female artists on any of your first three albums, so PLEASE tell me this is the case.🙏🙏🙏.”
Wallen simply responded, “Indeed sir.”

Fans mostly flooded the comment section with excitement for the potential of his first-ever duet with a female artist as well as for the entire album to drop. Some even attempted to guess who the mystery songstress might be.
Adding To Rumors Involving Megan Moroney
Wallen’s major spoiler further adds to speculation that has already been circulating the internet that he and Megan Moroney have a collaboration in the works.

In her most recent video on TikTok, the “Indifferent” singer jumped on a viral meme that began after Morgan Wallen’s highly talked about exit from his appearance on Saturday Night Live.
A few weeks ago, the Tennessee native was called out for walking off the set of the late-night live sketch comedy show without taking part in the typical “goodbyes” portion as the credits rolled. Shortly after making it seem like he wanted to leave New York City as soon as possible, he posted an Instagram story of a photo of the view from his seat on the plane with the caption, “Get Me To God’s Country.”
This sparked a new social media trend with users poking fun at the words by sharing their own pictures with the same caption. In the original post, Wallen was referencing his return to Tennessee, where Moroney also happens to be performing this week as part of her Am I Okay? tour, hence the reason for her use of the viral quote.

Fans instantly believed that this was not just a coincidence and that there is actually a deeper purpose behind the post. Users filled the comment section with theories citing ideas such as Wallen will be making a surprise appearance during one of her upcoming shows in Nashville or Knoxville, or that there is in fact a collaboration in the works.
One user wrote, “Morgan and Megan collab confirmed?” followed by “MANIFESTING A MEGAN FEATURE ON THE NEW ALBUM 🙏💗”
“WHAT DOES THIS MEAN” others asked.
If the speculations about the duet are correct, this would mark the first time Morgan Wallen has ever featured a duet with a female artist on any of his albums.
The Moment Fans Have Been Waiting For
It’s also safe to say fans will be sent into an absolutely tizzy, especially since Moroney and Wallen have had their fair share of rumors spread about them in the past. The most notable moment was when the Georgia native posed in the same Tennessee Vols shirt Wallen had previously been seen wearing for the cover of her breakout hit, “Tennessee orange.” This led to a slew of dating rumors that were eventually debunked by both artists.
During an appearance on an episode of the Call Her Daddy Podcast back in July, Moroney cleared up the rumors, stating that “We were not just friends and now we’re friends.” She went on to say that they “never exclusively” dated because their “insane” schedules made it incredibly difficult.
Both artists have certainty got fans talking again and time will only tell what (if anything) is really going on.
