Chris Lane and Lauren Lane are preparing to celebrate their first Christmas as a family of three!
After welcoming their first child, Dutton Walker, in June, the couple is thrilled to start making Christmas memories with their 6-month-old son.
The “Big Big Plans” singer was the first to get in the Christmas spirit, pulling out the Christmas tree the day after Halloween.

“I’ve honestly decorated more than Lauren has. I got out the tree on Nov. 1 and she was yelling at me,” he recalled to E! Online. “The way I think about it is it’s a lot of work to put up trees and decorations and all that kind of stuff. If I’m going to do it, I want to enjoy it for a couple of months as opposed to a handful of weeks.”
The North Carolina native revealed that they plan to ring in their first Christmas with Dutton alongside Lauren’s family, rather than in Nashville alone.
“We’re going to be in Portland, Ore., for Christmas visiting Lauren’s family. It’s going to be special to share our first one with Dutton,” he said.
As for the holiday itself, Lane plans to use the downtime to count his blessings and hopes to convey the true “reason for the season” to his son as well.
“[Our faith is] something that we will definitely teach Dutton about and make sure he understands why we believe what we believe and hopefully it will be as important to him as it is to us,” Lane explained.

Ahead of Christmas, Lauren gave fans a look at the Lane family Christmas card, which also features their rescue pups, Cooper and Chloe,
“Merry Christmas & happy holidays from our family to yours 🙏🤎,” she captioned the photos.
Lane, who is set to continue his Fill them Boots Tour in the new year, recently released his new single, “Stop Coming Over.”

The track, co-written by Rocky Block, Jordan Dozzi and Brett Tyler, is already Dutton-approved. Lauren recently shared a clip of their baby bobbing his head along to the beat and fans can’t get enough.
“The cutest video I’ve ever seen 🥺,” wrote Lauren’s fellow Bachelor alum, Amanda Stanton.
Another Instagram user commented, “Sooooo stinking cute 😍😍😍😍.”

“I’m so pumped to release ‘Stop Coming Over!’” the singer/songwriter shared upon the release of the song. “When I listened to this song for the first time and heard that hook, I knew I had to record it. It’s so catchy and the songwriting is so clever; I just loved everything about it. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this one and perform it live for y’all on the road!”
