Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell Lane Welcome Son, Dutton Walker

Chris Lane and his wife, Lauren Bushell Lane, are officially parents!
The couple welcomed their baby boy, Dutton Walker, into the world on Tuesday, June 8. People confirmed the news and reports that Dutton arrived weighing in at 9 lbs. and measured 19.5 inches long.
“Everyone in the room, including Lauren and me, were shocked we had a 9-pound baby! Not sure where he was hiding in her belly?!” Lane, 36, joked with PEOPLE.
“Watching Lauren go through the birthing process – from the beginning to the moment she delivered – was the most incredible thing I’ve ever witnessed,” he added. “I experienced an emotion I’ve never felt before.”

Lane documented the moment he first held his son on Instagram, writing, “Words can’t describe the love I feel inside my heart for this little man! Thanks for all the prayers🙏🏻 I will never understand how @laurenlane birthed a 9 pound baby!”
New mom Lauren, 31, also took to Instagram to introduce Dutton to the world.
“Your dad and I can’t get enough of all 9 pounds of you.” she wrote. “Now back to baby cuddles and praising Jesus over and over again for this little miracle!! 🙏”
She also gushed over her infant son with PEOPLE, telling the publication, “I’ve never felt an immediate unconditional love like I now have for Dutton. And going through this experience with Chris has made me love and appreciate him even more … I didn’t think that was possible!”

Chris and Lauren announced their pregnancy in early December of 2020. They rang in the new year by announcing that they were expecting a baby boy. Since then, they’ve been busy preparing for life as parents and even took a Baby 101 class in early May.
Chris and Lauren began dating in 2018 and tied the knot on October 25, 2019.
