Sheryl Crow took to social media on Monday (Aug. 12) to share a sincere apology to fans who were disappointed by her absence at Zach Bryan’s Atlanta, Georgia concert over the weekend.

The nine-time GRAMMY winner was originally scheduled to open for Bryan at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, however, she was unable to perform in Atlanta with him due to scheduling issues.

In her statement, Crow explained that she made the decision to pull out of these two appearances with Bryan back in March and she thought that the “Pink Skies” singer and the tour’s promotor, Live Nation, would have shared the news with fans. Unfortunately, it appears fans purchased tickets with hopes to see Crow and were never told that she would not be appearing.

“I’m so sorry to those who bought tickets to see me open for Zach Bryan at Mercedes Benz Stadium this weekend and were disappointed that I wasn’t there,” she wrote. “Back in March, we had to pull out due to scheduling issues. I assumed Zach and Live Nation would make it known.”

The 62-year-old closed her post with a heartfelt apology, telling her fans, “I’m so sorry.”

According to a tour graphic previously shared by Bryan, these two Atlanta concerts were the only dates of Zach Bryan’s The Quittin Time Tour that Crow was set to perform at.

Crow, who is known for hits like “All I Wanna Do,” “If It Makes You Happy,” and “Soak Up the Sun,” has a full list of tour dates planned, including several upcoming stadium shows with P!NK. According to Instagram, Crow joined P!NK’s tour on August 10, so it appears this was the scheduling conflict that she was referring to.

Of touring with P!NK, Crow, shared, “Not kidding… this woman blew me away!! 🤯 Not only is @pink’s voice insane, and not only does she fly through the air WHILE she is singing, she makes everyone in the room feel seen and loved! ❤️ And there is not one thing about her that doesn’t ring true. What an amazing artist and woman!! Such an honor to play for her audience! ❤️🤯🙌🏻🔥🔥🔥”

Meanwhile, Zach Bryan’s The Quittin Time Tour rolls on with upcoming shows in Tampa, Florida, Arlington, Texas, Kansas City, Missouri, and more. This current trek features support from artists such as Turnpike Troubadours, The War And Treaty, Sierra Ferrell, Levi, Turner, and more. The tour will wrap up on Thursday, December 19 in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center.

In the midst of the tour, Bryan dropped his latest album, The Great American Bar Scene. The album features 18 tracks, including 17 songs and a poem.

A double vinyl edition of The Great American Bar Scene is set for release on October 10.
