Kelly Clarkson covered a ’90s country classic during a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show and fans are loving it.
The superstar put her own spin on Terri Clark‘s “Better Things To Do” for the Kellyoke segment of her show. The Texas native had toes tapping throughout the sassy song and even caught the attention of Clark with her impressive performance.

The YouTube video received hundreds of comments from fans who praised Clarkson’s performance.
“Her voice is unstoppable, hope she [gives] us a country album,” wrote one fan, while another shared, “I freaking love this song and she slayed it as usual.”
“Better Things To Do” was released in 1995 as Clark’s debut single and lead release from her self-titled debut album. It became a Top 5 hit in the U.S. and Canada, peaking at No.3 on both charts.
The song was written by Clark alongside Tom Shapiro and Chris Waters.
Clarkson shares a variety of covers during the “Kellyoke” segment of her show, including a recent rendition of Blake Shelton‘s “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking” and Faith Hill‘s “Let’s Go To Vegas.”
She has previously performed songs such as Billy Currington’s “Let Me Down Easy,” Faith Hill’s “It Matters To Me,” Pam Tillis’ “Maybe It Was Memphis,” Wynonna’s “No One Else On Earth” and Jo Dee Messina’s “Heads Carolina, Tails California.
Other “Kellyoke” segments have also featured covers of Blake Shelton, Johnny Cash, Lady A, Rascal Flatts, Travis Tritt, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini (just to name a few).
