Brett Young recently kicked off his highly-anticipated Chapters Tour and on Saturday (Feb 1), the superstar debuted an emotional new song while performing at the Hammerstein Ballroom inside of The Manhattan Center in New York City.
During the sold-out show, Young surprised fans with an unreleased song called “Lady,” which he wrote in honor of his 3-month-old baby girl, Presley Elizabeth, and his wife, Taylor Mills Young.
Young performed the song after gushing over Presley and Taylor and appeared to hold back tears as he sang the emotional lyrics.
“You can always run to daddy, you’ll always be my baby, but look at her baby girl and you’ll learn how to be a lady,” he sang as photos of his wife and daughter flashed on the video screen behind him.
