Gabby Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner, have officially welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Ivy Josephine Foehner.

On Saturday, February 17, the “I Hope” singer took to social media and shared a photo of her newborn daughter’s feet, revealing that she has given birth to their second daughter and third child overall. Barrett also disclosed that she welcomed her third child with an at home birth.

“Our third baby arrived earth side early this morning, at home. Another life to love and cherish. Praising God for His kindness!” Barrett and Foehner captioned the joint Instagram post, before unveiling their daughter’s name as Ivy Josephine Foehner. Barrett also revealed their daughter’s nickname in the post, Ivy Jo.

The American Idol alums first announced that they were expecting their third child in August of 2023. At the time, Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner took to social media to announce the exciting news with fans via a joint post.

The image captured Barrett and Foehner seated together on a staircase during rehearsal on stage, with a speaker displaying the message “baby #3” accompanied by two hearts. The third slide of the post featured Barrett lying in bed with a Baby Doppler on her belly listening to the baby’s heartbeat.

“SWIPE for a surprise 🩷 #livingthedream,” Barrett captioned the photo on Instagram.

How Did Gabby Barrett Meet Cade Foehner And How Many Kids Do They Have?

Barrett and Foehner are also parents to a son Augustine Boone, who they welcomed into the world on October 27, 2022, and daughter Baylah May, who was born January 18, 2021.

Prior to giving birth to their first son, Augustine, Barrett revealed their little girl was already preparing for her big sister duties.

“She’s very sweet about her babies and baby dolls already. She puts them to sleep all the time, she’ll hold them like she’s putting them to sleep. It is the sweetest thing,” she shared. “Give them their pacifier, and she does give my belly kisses and stuff. I don’t think she understands there’s a baby in the belly, but she’s very sweet about it.”

The couple met in 2018 when they both appeared and competed on Season 16 of American Idol. Their relationship continued to flourish, and Foehner proposed in March of 2019.

Following a short engagement, the pair tied the knot on October 5, 2019, during a small wedding in Garrison, Texas.

Foehner inspired several tracks on Barrett’s debut album, including her chart-topping single, “The Good Ones,” among others. Foehner appeared in Barrett’s music video for “Pick Me Up” as well as the video for her latest single, “Glory Days,” which also features their first two children: Augustine Boone and Baylah May.

Gabby Barrett’s New Album, Chapter & Verse

“Glory Days” appears on Gabby Barrett’s just-released sophomore album, Chapter & Verse, which arrived earlier this month via Warner Music Nashville.

The 14-track project offers an in-depth look into the current chapter of Barrett’s journey as a 23-year-old mom, wife, and hard-working country star. The multi-platinum superstar opens up about the highs and lows, while also paying tribute to her faith for getting her through any obstacle that comes her way.

Not only does the album feature “Glory Days,” her current Top 20 and climbing single at Country radio, but it also includes “Cowboy Back,” “Growin’ Up Raising You,” as well as a duet with Phil Wickham, titled “The Verse: Doxology (Amen),” “Dance Like No One’s Watching,” which features background vocals from fellow country superstar Luke Combs, the Miranda Lambert-penned tune “You’re My Texas” and more.

The songstress poured true authenticity into this collection as she took a hands-on approach by serving as a co-producer on every track alongside GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter-producer Ross Copperman. She also had a hand in co-writing nine of the 14 songs and collaborating with hitmakers including Miranda Lambert on the remainder of the tracks.

Additionally, Gabby Barrett will take some well-deserved time off the road to spend with her family, before returning to the road for her next scheduled show at the Brown County Fairgrounds in Aberdeen, SD on August 12.
