Brad Paisley Invites Malone To Make Grand Ole Opry Debut

The official track list unveiling comes just hours before Post Malone received a very important message from country music icon Brad Paisley, who also appears on the forthcoming project with the song, “Goes Without Saying.” In a video shared via the Grand Ole Opry’s official Instagram account, Paisley announced that he would be playing the coveted venue on August 14 and invited Post to join him in making his Opry debut that same night.

“Hey Post, Brad here. So what I’m about to ask is going to mean a lot to you. I think knowing you and knowing the respect that you have for country music and this journey you’re embarking on now as a hillbilly singer, which is going to be massive and remarkable and amazing for both country music and I think you would you like to play The Opry? Come play it with me in August, total invite.”

The Evening Will Feature An Epic Performance Lineup

Paisley went on to say that he believes this will be the “first of many appearances” for Post at the Opry and hinted that the show will feature “a lot” of their friends in the industry. According to the Opry’s official website, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson, Vince Gill and John Montgomery are also listed as performers for the star-studded evening, with even more to be added later.

“Come experience what it’s like to play the show that started it all. You and I can jam together and a lot of your friends will be there and we’re going to have a blast,” Paisley said in conclusion.

The “I Had Some Help” singer’s Opry debut will take place just a few weeks before the launch of his headlining F-1 Trillion Tour. Opening on Sunday, September 8 in Salt Lake City, UT, the trek will visit stadiums, festivals, and amphitheaters around the U.S. Malone will close things out with two newly announced dates in Texas, including Houston on October 22 and Austin on October 26.
