Katelyn Brown dubbed Kane Brown the “best dad in the world” in a heartfelt Father’s Day tribute to the country star.

On Sunday, June 18, Katelyn penned a sweet message to Kane alongside several photos and a video in honor of Father’s Day.

“HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO THIS HANDSOME MAN 😍,” she began. “You are the absolute best husband and father and we are so incredibly lucky to have you ! We may not have the most “normal” lives but you truly make it possible for us to all be together as much as we can and I love you so much for your devotion to our family ! These girls have the best dad in the world ❤️❤️”

She also explained the story behind the final slide in her post, which showcased the couple singing an impromptu duet for their eldest daughter, Kingsley, via FaceTime.

“Last slide is a video of Kingsley calling us wanting us to sing her favorite beach song to her moments before we had to go into the cmas … we love these babies so much 😍❤️ “

In the video, Kane and Katelyn sweetly sing, “Don’t’ forget your beach towel/ Don’t forget your sunscreen/ We are going to the beach/ and it’s going to be fun!”

Kane Brown has been open about his role as a girl dad and has often promised to give them the best life possible.

“I just always wanted to give them the life that I never had,” Brown previously told CBS Mornings

The platinum-selling star recently had to miss Kingsley’s dance recital due to his touring schedule. His wife, Katelyn, stayed back to play the role of “dance mom” and shared an adorable video recap of the recital day on Instagram.

The video clip took fans through their recital day, beginning with Kingley’s makeup session. Katelyn also showcased clips from Kingley’s dance and the sweet moment she received a bouquet of flowers after her time on stage.

“So proud of my baby at her first recital…. I’m officially a dance mom 😂,” Katelyn captioned the clip of their 3-year-old.

Kane was sad to have to miss the special moment and wrote, “😭😭😭 and I wasn’t there.”

Katelyn has been joining him on the run to perform their chart-topping, Platinum-certified duet, “Thank God.” The moment is a highlight of Brown’s electrifying live shows, however, since she stayed back to be with Kingsley, Kane had fans fill in for her on his latest run of shows.

Most recently, Kane and Katelyn Brown were honored when “Thank God” took home the title of Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Music Awards. It was an emotional moment for the beloved country couple.

“Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. I am, first off I’m so nervous. This is all so new to me and when we recorded this song a year ago, I never in my life would ever think that this was ever gonna happen,” Katelyn shared from the stage. “But I just wanna say thank you so much to my amazing husband, I love you. This is so special that we get to share this together every night. I love you so much.”

Directed by Brown’s longtime collaborator, Alex Alvga, the Video of the Year-winning music video follows the couple around Hawaii as they cruise down a picturesque road in a vintage Bronco with the top down, enjoy a walk through a luscious tropical rainforest, and escape the world together in a mountainside bungalow.

The video concludes with the couple embracing on a beach as the sun sets around them, making for a truly stunning scene.

“Thank God” was released in September as part of Brown’s latest album, Different Man. It was co-written by Josh Hoge, Jaxson Free, Kyle Fishman, Christian Davis, and Jared Mullins.
