Summer is right around the corner, which means plenty of folks will be spending more time outdoors fishing on the lake. And, Travis Denning does just that in the latest episode of his highly-entertaining weekly variety series, Travis Denning and Friends Do Stuff.
This brand new clip, premiering exclusively on Country Now, finds Denning inviting some of his good Georgian buddies, including recent Baltimore Ravens draft pick Ben Cleveland, out on the water for a fun-filled day complete with sunshine, beers, and plenty of catfishing.
Before admitting that he’s actually never gone catfishing before, Denning introduces his pals, saying, “What’s up y’all? This is Travis Denning. This is a special episode of Travis Denning and Friends Do Stuff. Today, we’ve got my buddy B.T. Walters. ‘Big Country’, Ben Cleveland back there, formerly of the University of Georgia Bulldogs, and oh yea, Drew here too. Let’s go get some catfish!”
Out on the boat, it appears the boys have no problem getting the fish to bite — especially when they try using a net instead of a pole. They even manage to catch some very decent-sized channel catfish too.
“Are we checking lines? Caught a catfish!” the “Call It Country” singer says as the guys pull the hook off a gill and toss their catch into a cooler. “Get ‘em in the boat, boy! There we go. We’re gonna fry it. Nice!”

Since launching his weekly variety series in early May, Denning has shown viewers more than just country music talent. He’s been letting them in on his vibrant personality too.
Just last week, he took viewers to the gym as fellow country star Kip Moore coached him through a difficult workout routine. Fans can catch that episode HERE. Earlier last month, Denning showed off his stellar guitar skills alongside Brother’s Osborne’s John Osborne, which fans can see HERE. Before that, he took on Bobby Bones, LANCO, and Adam Hambrick in a game of HORSE. Be sure to watch that episode HERE. In the first episode, Denning endured a Nashville hot chicken challenge alongside Maddie & Tae.
Aside from treating fans to his weekly variety series, Denning has been staying busy, focusing on music. He is also performing numerous shows throughout 2021 and will also be joining Brothers Osborne on the road as an opening act for their We’re Not For Everyone tour.
Additionally, fans can catch Denning performing on Country Now Live, airing exclusively on CTRL_MUSIC_ on the interactive live streaming service Twitch. His show, presented by Seven Peaks Festival, will air on Wednesday, June 9 at 10/9c.
